Me going to help!

Hello happy Blog Peoples, its Diffy!

Tempest told me to stay at base cos they going to beat up Mr Stinky John, but me want to help! Me want to get mr stinky for wat he done to Healthy and Damian. Me going to sneaky sneaky after them. wish me luck peoples!

A Run-in with Reality

I've got to make this quick, we're really busy getting ready to go after John, but I have to tell you what happened yesterday afternoon:

So, everyone's in the base, including a lot of Cleo's team, who came to help, and we're studying all the machines I set up for finding John, and Doolittle turns to me, looking worried, and asks me to check something. I leave my machine, and go to look at hers. There's a blip near our base, but it can't tell if it's him or not. Then we hear a voice from all around us.
'Pitiful' it says, sounding smug. 'Did you really think someone with friends like mine could be caught by your pathetic machines?'

And then we're standing on the edge of a very tall cliff, with a solid floor of sharp, vicious rocks surrounded by thundering waves hundreds of feet below. We each in a cage, with out much room to move, and we're all of the very edge of the cliff. A huge, roaring, black Dragon appears, and belches fire on all of us! I try to make a forcefield, but the cage blocks my powers! Diffy looks the same, because it's a passive illusion, but we can't activate any of our powers for something new! We're all really badly burnt, from what I can see, and the voice is laughing. With a swish of it's tail, the Dragon knocks Tingle's cage over the edge, sending him plummeting downwards!

I remember us all yelling, and for some reason, I thought Tingle looked strange. He started to fall, and then landed, in mid-air, crashing onto an area of solid air, as his cage kept going, falling through him, and smashed on the rocks below. Tingle stands, swears at the bruises he got from landing, and walks back up to the cliff, climbing the air like a staircase! I realize what's strange about him. He has no burns. he was hurt by the fall, but the Dragon did nothing. He's fine. And the cage clearly didn't stop him doing whatever it was that was happening. He reaches the clifftop again, and looks at the Dragon. 'You are false to me' he says sternly, like he's telling Diffy off or something 'I suggest you leave' and he walks through the Dragon, which disappears! Tingle's vanished too, but we hear his voice, saying 'Please forgive me, friend of Damian, but I must release you from control' and then something that sounds suspiciously like a punch, a thud, and a muttered swearword from Tingle. The cliff ripples and disappears, and we all turn to grin at Tingle, who is stanging over Jorge's unconscious form, shaking the right hand and clutching it in his left. Physical stuff is not his strong point. I realized that Tingle COULD see through reality warping, and when he was thrown off the cliff, he was actually thrown down the stairs. Don't ask me how he was thrown by a Dragon he was immune too, I guess it took him a little while to work out how to escape the physical elements of the warp, I dunno. There was a scuffling sound, and we turned to see a large leopard sitting on John, with Diffy holding his mouth shut. 'Me and Shifty caught Mr stinky!' He called proudly. Playwrite went to work on John, I went to call Damian, and Healthbar saw to Tingle and Jorge. As soon as he woke up, Jorge looked around worried. 'Watch John carefully, he has a back up...'

BOOM!!!!!

People fly in every direction, cast from John like they were nothing more than toys. there is a flasht of light, lots of smoke, and we hear John running down the stairs. I follow him out and just get there in time to see a speck vanishing into the distance. John got another flyer under his control. Damn. I don't know he did to escape, but Precog has said that it wasn't a power he had. Precog and Omni both say he's waiting for Damian, and is determined to have him as his first victim, so that's good. Sort of.

Jorge set off, wanting to find Damian, and hoping to get in touch with REBEL, who'd contacted him a while ago.

Anyway, this is an alert. Meet us on the top of the Eiffel Tower. As soon as you can, Playwrite says John was heading for Paris.

SuperTingle and Patronuses

Some aspects of my teams powers have changed a bit recently, most obviously in Tingle, so I thought I'd fill you in on what's new.

First, I've been doing some research because of these changes, and apparently the son of Chandra Suresh, he's called Mohinder, worked out that abilities are determined by our body chemistry, and our personality combined. That's why Tingle has a serious power and Diffy has a fun imaginative one, etc.

I think it's like a patronus from harry potter. You know how they can change if someone thinks really differently? Like Tonk's Patronus changes in book six? Well I think something similar has happened to some of my crew.

Tingle has been more serious than ever since these supervillians emerged (John, Amelia, Howard, Danko) and it's like he finally knows how big this is. He's always been the most businesslike of us, organizing things, making sure Diffy eats his greens, you know, the serious responsible one, that's why he manifested a power that helps him see the truth, and helps him to know things, but recently, its been evolving. He still has the same power, but it's improved. Its become a general trick detection. He can literally see through ANY kind of deception. Before, he could just detect when someone was lying, but since we've all been working together in this War that's started with other specials and the government, he's been focusing harder than ever, planning more, taking it very seriously. He's seen shocking things, and it's changed him. His power has evolved.

We first noticed when me and Diffy were alone in the base, lying on the floor while I tested him on telling the time. (We took him out of school, with his mum's consent, because he alway has his illusion up, so he walked into his class as Diffy, white and slightly egg shaped with the red hat and everything, to the shocked faces of 20 5-6 year olds, and his teacher, so now we teach him when we have time) He was pointing at the practice clock we had and had just said 'This is elenty past three!' and I was trying to point out it said five to four, when Tingle walked in. He glanced at us on his way upstairs, and smiled down at us, and then frowned at Diffy, remarking 'Diffy, when was the last time you washed your hair? It's getting disgusting!' Diffy blew a raspberry at him, but I just stared. Tingle frowned at me, and then his eyes widened as he caught on. He looked stunned, and turned to stare at Diffy, who had gone back to messing with the practice clock, but looked just as he usually did.

'Did you just...?' I asked, stuck for words, gawping at Tingle. 'His illusion's up, there's no way you can see...'
'I can't' Tingle muttered, frowning at Diffy, who was still ignoring us. 'I mean I think I did, but I can't now. He just looks like Diffy'
'But you think you DID?'
'Er, yeah.'
This was serious. Tingle would NEVER use the word 'er'
H stared at Diffy, frowning again, willing himself to see through the illusion again. 'There!' he cried, grinning widely, something he doesn't do very often. 'For a second I saw through it, the illusion dissappeared!'
I couldn't see anything different about Diffy, he was like normal to me. Well, normal for Diffy anyway. We had to check. Our request for Diffy to lower his illusion got us both a raspberry for each of us. 'I LIKE being Diffy' he pouted. Ten minutes of coaxing and the promise of chocolate got him to do it. He closed his eyes and stuck his tongue out, having to concentrate to remove what had become his second skin. The image wobbled, flickered, and vanished, leaving us looking at a small, very scruffy boy. He made me promise not to describe him, he insists the world know him as Diffy, but I can say his hair was very dirty. 'Can I be Diffy again?' He wanted to change back as soon as he could.

We let him change back and went upstairs to discuss this development. We tested his ability more and discovered that he can see through any trick. Nothing can fool him. It took concentration to see through the large, long lasting things like illusions that have been active for a while, but pretty much anything just fades away from him. It even works with cameras and TV! We watched a Sci-Fi show and Tingle said he could see all the special effects as ghosts, he could see what was fake, but see what the fake stuff looked like. He can turn it off so he sees normally easily, it doesn't exhaust him or anything holding it in, but his normal state now is seeing everything for what it really is! We asked Diffy to make some random illusions, he turned the shop into a maze, I got hopelessly lost, everything seemed and felt real, but Tingle just walked straight through and found Diffy! NOTHING can trick him, he's even finding it easier to see through long term tricks, but he stopped doing to Diffy out of respect. Because Reality warping is a lot like illusions, only more real, we think he should be able to see through that, but we still need to test it out.

I won't go into as much detail with the rest, but the gist is that war has changed everyone.

Precog has started absentmindedly drawing the helix symbol everywhere. He's not even in a trance. He just draws it on anything he can reach without thinking about it. He hasn't drawn it on living things yet, and it's not like he goes looking for things to draw on, but if he stays still long enough, he'll start doodling. It's weird.
Also, he's now able to focus on specific things, and draw about one exact subject, instead of getting what he's looking for after a few attempts along with other pictures. We first noticed when he put his glass of water down on a table, and as soon as he let go he went into a trance and drew a smashed glass, and came out of it again just as Healthbar, who couldn't see the picture, accidently knocked the glass off the table, causing it to smash. We tested him too, and found out his power had evolved aswell. Now he has to conciously focus on something, but if he touches something or someone, he can draw their specific future.

Doolittle has started being able to copy accents, like Damian, I think it was exposure to HIS Omnilingualism that could do that that unlocked it. She's also able to understand silent conversations, like body movements, and winks and everything like that. I mean most of us get a general idea from those, move, run, don't worry, etc, but she gets a whole sentence, and can understand EXACTLY what it means, like 'Move left by two metres', 'Run to the Base, I'll meet you there' or 'Don't worry, I've already set a trap for him, so I'm completely safe' that sort of thing. Now, she definately doesn't have technopathy, but she's starting t understand some of the mad coding that happens when I use it. She can't do it herself, but she can undertand it, if that makes sense.

I'm going to post a complete list of my team, including the new recruits, when I can, so that you have a basic, simplified list.

Operation Anti-John

This plan is fairly simple. Please let me know what you think, I'm pretty pleased with this plan, but if you think it should be changed, suggest it and I'll see what Precog makes of it.

We split into teams, Team A is Playwrite, Evan, Cleo and Broadcast. They have the most important job. Everyone except Broadcast can make a big mind block to prevent John from using his power, and Broadcast can silence John's Voice to stop him yelling commands in case his power is just weakened. I would use Pesuasion, but it can be fought by strong minds more easily than mind control so my other powers are of more use here, and I can't concentrate on using Persuasion while part of another group, I might accidently affect you lot aswell.

Freezeframe will surround him with her statue army, creatures he CAN'T control because they have no minds, and they will hold him down. Doolittle will translate for our foreign allies so that everyone can know what's going on, and her animal friends will help fight off any lackies John's picked up. Healthbar will be on hand to keep us all healthy, while Me, Damian, Arthur (Who now goes by Lighter), Shockwave, Chan and Shifter (Team B) deal with his henchmen. All henchmen and lackies should be stopped, but not badly injured if we can help it, and Tingle will go round them checking if they're free of mind control yet, and those that are, Sage and Tingle can get to safety. Omni and Precog can make sure everything stays on track by continually trancing, and letting us know what's coming next.

When we find Double and Pete, we MUST get them to safety, they are our priority.

When John is alone, and all his zombies are free, we move in. We need to get to him as quickly as we can, because Team A will get weaker the longer they block John. I'll hold him in one of my Moveable Forcefields, and we all use what we can to hold him and make sure he can't escape. Then we let Damian deal with him. It's his right. I have to admit, I'm probably going to break his arm in a number of painful ways for what he did to Healthbar, but Damian gets main resposibility.

I'm having Diffy wait at the base. He's not getting involved in something like this. I won't have it. He's too young, and this is too much like a war.

The Building 26 Rescue

Damian's still with his mum, so I thought I'd tell you how the trip went, because Diffy left some details out (Because I didn't tell him everything):

Ok, so, as Diffy explained to you, we all got back from B26 ok, well, alive, and we managed to save four people, they were the only ones we could find, there were some empty beds so I think REBEL must have helped some people too.

We got in ok, floating over the guards heads and phasing down into an abandoned room, the heat lamp one, and we made our way to a large area that Playwrite said everyone was being held drugged in. We got there and there were at least four empty beds, maybe more, one of them had a slight blood stain on it so I hope whoever used to be there is ok. There were three other people in the room, so we unplugged them all and Tingle explained the situation to them and made sure they were genuine prisoners, while Playwrite kept us undiscovered. Healthbar noticed that one of the ladies was bleeding badly, so she healed her and we discovered she was Damian's Mum! We'd found her! Healthbar went round the rest and healed their minor injuries, and then she and I went to check a couple of rooms nearby for other people. I wish we'd had Playwrite with us. In a room just round the corner (All the patrolling guards were ignoring us thanks to Playwrite, but that was it) we found a girl, a few years younger than us, about thirteen, connected to a drug shunt and being interrogated by a soldier. He was telling her that if she agreed to help them find the other specials, they'd spare her. We came up behind him, and said 'We'll here's two of them!' and Forcefield punched him, knocking him to the floor, and I erupted a small tree from underneath the concrete floor, smashing through and entangling him in it's branches. Healthbar healed the girl, and she told us her name was Molly, while I undid the drug shunt. Then there was a loud bang, and Healthbar screamed. She'd stepped in front of me and Molly, and there was a bleeding hole in the lower part of her chest. The soldier had brought out a gun and managed to fight the tree enough to get a good shot. 'Healthbar!' I screamed, as she collapsed to the floor, while Molly looked on shocked, muttering something, it sounded like 'Why does everyone that helps me get shot?'. 'You're going to be ok, right?' the soldier raised his gun again, but a grabbed it in a forcefield and threw in into a corner.

I was really angry now, and I did something that I'm now wondering was wrong, but she had to live. I told Molly 'Go round the corner from this room and through the door on your left. Our friends are there. We'll be fine, we'll be along in a minute. Run!' She looked worried, but she went. Then I gave Healthbar the soldier. I did. I still can't believe it, but I made my tree dump him in front of her, and told Healthbar to heal herself. 'Just take enough to live, don't kill him, but please live, you have to!' She looked at me strangely, but she did it. She reached out and grabbed his arm, and he screamed, as the black fog stuff sliced his arms broke his bones. The bullet shot out of her chest, lodging itself in the wall. The hole in her chest got smaller, and the soldier looked like he was about to die. This had gone too far. 'STOP!' I used full force persuasion on her, I refused to let her kill someone, especially as it was my fault she was using this power. She stopped draining him, and stood up, her wound still quite large, but much more manageable. I looked down at the guard. I doubted he'd ever walk again, but his basic wounds would heal well enough. We left the room, and made our way back to the others. Healthbar was quiet now, her face darker, the change in her more prominent than ever. We entered the room with the beds again, and Playwrite was staring at us. I knew he knew everything. He turned away and carried on explaining to everyone about how we'd leave. I wanted to help Healthbar, but there wasn't time. Playwrite had found the room with the files in a guards head, so we all went up to destroy our files, and those of our new friends. There were seven research type people in there, and Playwrite sent them out to the corridor while we went through, and Playwrite had to stop anyone coming in, which became increasingly hard when the researchers were discovered and more and more people were trying to reach us. Everyone gathered our files, and I set them on fire, containing them in a Forcefield until they were ash, and I used technopathy to destroy ALL their computer files. It would have been nice to destroy ALL the paper files, but by the time our files had burnt Playwrite was nearly unconscious, holding back all the guards, researchers and soldiers. I picked us all up in a forcefield as he collapsed, and the door flew open, and they all piled in.

We shot up through the ceiling, and set off for home. Playwrite woke up after a few minutes, and used his skills to keep everyone calm, as this sort of flight is strange if you're not used to it. We managed to have quite a good chat with each of them, and found out what each of them wanted to do now. He also tried to dampen Healthbar's darkness, because she was looking from her wound to all of us with interest. With his help, she managed to calm down, and look around a bit confused, as if she didn't quite remember the last few minutes.
The Lady that wasn't Damian's mum was the worst passenger I've ever had, she looked ill, and as we flew over the english coast she started to glow green and collapsed. She sneezed, and the Forcefield shook, I could barely hold it! I got us back as fast as I could, and we landed at the base. We carried her in, and Diffy looked scared at the sight of Healthbar, so I told him to update you guys on our progress.

I left the others to help our new friends, and turned to the important matter of helping Healthbar. I knew that healing people didn't harm her, just wear her out after a while, but it made her glow and feel really good, so I had an idea. I took her to a separate room, after asking Broadcast to make it soundproof. 'Take what you need from me.'I told her, gripping her shoulders and staring into her eyes. 'Take what you need to finish healing yourself from me' I didn't use persuasion, I hate doing it, I've learned to only use it as a last resort, but she didn't need persuading. She looked a little scared at using her power again, but she grabbed my hands. The pain was instantly unbearable, black fog racing over my body. I screamed, and my arms and legs were slashed open, and I fell to the floor as my left leg was forcibly broken. It felt like I was going to die, she knelt with me, our hands clasped, as her wound healed slowly, so slowly, and I kept dying.

My other leg snapped, and my right arm, and I felt like death was inches away, the pain was unbearable, I was being killed by one of my best friends....

And then it stopped. She let go, and I collapsed, lying on the floor, the pain now just a dull, throbbing agony, and looked up at her. Her wound was completely healed, but she looked half dead. It was strange to see her look so ill, BECAUSE she was fully healed. 'Now heal me...'I whispered, my strength failing, hoping my theory was right. Healthbar looked confused, torn between the darkness, now stronger than ever, and her friend. 'Please...heal me..for both our sakes...' I could barely get the words out, but I saw her frown, and she closed her dark eyes and shook her head, and opened them again with a determined look, her eyes back to their usual colour, but still a couple of shades too dark. 'Of course I will! Oh my God what happened to you! This was me wasn't it? Bloody Hell you fool!' She knelt down and placed her hands on me, and this time they felt wonderful, a cooling, calming sensation flowing over me as the healing began. 'What were you thinking! This was so dangerous!' She continued to yell at me as my bones clicked back together and the darkness slowly faded from her face. When I was fully restored and the colour had returned to her face, we stood up. There was still a hint of black to her eyes, and she still looked a little pale, but she was smiling again. 'Thank you' we both said at the same time, and laughed. We hugged, she said that I was still stupid for trying it, and we went back to the others. Playwrite was lying down, an icepack on his forehead, but he gave me a nod and a slight grin as we came in. Healthbar healed Jill, calming her so that she could power down and not destroy the base, and she tended to everyone else, even vanquishing Playwrite's headache. The darkness was gone from her face completely now, but I knew it was still there, deep inside her, waiting to suck the health out of another victim, it had just been...beaten, for now.

Damian arrived to see his mum, and I took him to the safehouse. I had to hide the location from him, Only three of us know the way, Playwrite's paranoid about it so he keeps wiping the others minds after they visit, only Me and him know, and Diffy because he threatened to spook Playwrite forever if he even tried to wipe him, and he has one of the strongest minds we've seen, especially for one so young, so it's a very scary threat. Damian's still in their now, his mum looked really serious, they've been there ages, but I'm leaving them to it.

Precog told me he'd been drawing, and showed me some pictures, telling me that we hadn't been followed, and that the others might be in danger, but he warned them on Diffy's post.

I'll post the plan soon, but I thought you'd want me to fill in the gaps in Diffy's tale of our adventure.

Healthy!

Tempest says she back to Happy Healthy again. Yay!

Damian, you can come over when ever you like now, Tempest says, Healthy healed evryone now that she better again.

Me again!

Hello Blog Peoples, it's Diffy again!

Tempest (I rote it rite this time) and the others just got back from the Bad Building, and he said it mostly went good. He wants ME to tell you whats hapning again, cos hes busy and he says I did a good job last time!

Well, they got back about ten minites ago, and they had four people with them. Playwite had a hurty head again, and Healthy lookd scary, like she wasnt very happy, and her face was all pale, with dark rings round her eyes, like she was a zomby or somethin. She scared me, so Tempest told me to do this insted of staying with them until he could help her.

The four new peoples were two ladys, a young man, and a little girl, who's still older than me.

One of the ladys looked a bit like Damian, so I fhink thats his mummy, oopsy, I mean mom, thats how he says it. Tempest said they got her, so I fhink that's who she is.

The little girl Tempest says is called Molly, and she says shell be ok now that she knows what the baddies look like, shell be abel to see them coming, that sounds reelly cool! So she just wants to go back to stay with her granny.

The man is called Neil, I made Tempest spell it for me, and this is crazy, he not even got a power! He says he used to have a power, but he met that man who started the place that helped Tempest give me my spookys, and he had it took! That man did it both ways dint he? Anyways, he seemed intrested in helping Cleo (Needed that rote for me too) with HER group, cos he has experence? expieriense? he used to be special so he what its like anyways, and hed like to help find peoples like us and have a pardner with a power again. We going to bring him over wen he recovererd, becasue Healthy not done helping them all yet, becasue of her feeling stranje.

The other lady called Jill, I can spell that, and she was reelly ill when they came in, cos Playwite says her power went off becasue of stressedness or somethin like that. She was glowing green and she kept sneezing and everywhere kept shaking when she did. I hope she going to be ok, she lookd nice.

Oooh! Tingly and Pwecog comin downstairs quickly, they saying they have stuff to tell me, So I going to get them to tell evrybody.

Hello everybody, this is Tingle. Tempest wanted me to pass on a couple of messages, and Diffy wants me to write it. Damian, we have your mother, she had a couple of bruises and cuts, but Healthbar healed her before...well she was healed before Healthbar got...ill again...You can come and see her, but we are going to keep her over here, it is further away from Building 26 and your old house, and we have places not even Molly can find that she can stay in. I think Diffy explained her power, she can find anyone or anywhere, by thinking about it, it is most interesting, and now that she knows what the hunters look like, she can avoid them by watching for them coming. She told us she had dealt with one of the men there before, a man called Bennet, and he had pointed a gun at her. Clearly still doing the same thing.

To get back to the messages, Cleo, we will bring Neil over once he has recovered, he has experience of being an Evolved Human, so he can help with finding them.

Tempest also had a theory about John. Now that the John we are dealing with is a clone, the previous commands given to us should be negated, because they were told to us by what was technically a different person, and John has a very literal power, so he should be bound by it too. This was proved when we met up with Playwrite, Doolittle and their recruits, and none of us felt like preventing them from finding John, as we were commanded to do by Damian.
This means we can go after him afresh, but please wait for his plan, he thinks he knows how to get Double back safely.
That's about it, but I feel I should explain That Diffy calls his illusions Spookys, so that's what he was talking about.
I'll hand you over to Precog.

Hello everybody in blogland!
I'm Precog, the stickman future drawer, and this is a quick note to Damian and Cleo. Be careful, I was trying to find out if Tempest and the others were followed, and I found out they weren't but I also did a drawing of you two in Techpower co. being tortured by two people, who I couldn't tell for certain, but from other drawings looked horribly like Jorge and Amelia, so watch out. I felt it was important to let you know straight away, because I can't get any sense of time from this picture, I guess it's because of the RW powers they both have.
Anyway, watch your backs! And now, I'll leave you in the capable hands of our new specialist reporter:

Hehe, Precogs funny! He always truue, so if he draws you in a bad place, be cairful!

Thats about it anyways, so I going to check Healthys okey dokey again, and see if I can Help. Tempest going to do a plan for stinky John (I still dont like him, thats the rudest word I can fhink of!) and then we going to get him, and going to pay for being so stinky to my frends.

SuperDiffy, Away!
