Wandering

I hope this has enough reception to get through, I'm TP'ing it so it should have a boost.
I've lost track of how long I've been wandering through this 'pyramid', but it's been too long. I haven't felt, hungry, or thirsty, or sleepy, it seems the Fates want to keep me alive long enough to test me. The man at the beginning kept pushing towards the door, going on about how I had to choose three to take in with me, and how it was going to be tough. Well, the second part was right. I haven't got three anythings with me, so I'm completely alone, except for Hana, and she's not exactly useful fighting if need be. This feels really familiar, but from years ago, before villians took up all my time, back in the simpler days....
No, it's gone. I can't remember where this is from.
Having only TP at the moment, I've been careful to avoid any hazard I can, seeing as my phone is the only thing around I can actually use my ability on.
I think I know which power this place is holding though. The first maze I was in, it was raining. Then I found a sort of blue disk on the floor, and that took me to a different one, where it was really bright and sunny. I've had floors with snow, thunderstorm, wind, and hail. That floor hurt.
I can hardly see anything, only a little bit around me, and I keep seeing shadows pass by round corners, or just outside my clear range of vision. I keep hearing voices, in the distance, and they're all yelling things like 'Flamethrower!', or 'Thunderbolt!' and one time, I heard someone yell 'Explosion!' which was followed by a huge boom and the whole maze shaking. Clearly there are other people here with powers, fighting. If I had all my abilities, I might try to make contact, calm them down, form a group to team up and escape, but they sound far to dangerous to try and alm in my current condition. Anyway, they seem to be doing ok.
Oh yeah, there was a really weird thing that happened about three mazes ago. I was trying to get round a corner without being seen, and I heard a yell behind me. I ran, but a girl screamed 'After him!' and then a deep-throated sort of noise, that sounded like 'Reeeeeeeeee' started up. I ended up in a dead end, and turned to see something advancing in the shadows. It was still making the strange noise. Hana vanished in a wave of static, so I held out a hand and called 'Go away! I am in no condition to fight!'
Amazingly, it backed away, and actually said 'Goooone' as it backed off, to show it understood. Hana reappeared, and I bolted.

Isn't that weird? eurgh, this mist is really annoying me, and slowly soaking everything. The sooner I get of this floor- Yes! The blue pad! If this is getting through, this is a live plot development people! Let's go!

Woah, these always feel weird, like that time Damian teleported us. I SO prefer flying. Man I miss my forcefields.

Aha! Right, where have I landed now? More sunlight, real sunlight, I'm outside! Wow, fresh air at last! There's a stepped slope behind me, really steep, of course, the pyramid! I must have reached the top? The sunlight gets too bright at the edges to see the view, damn! It would be good to know where I am.

Oh, hello. Hiker bloke is wandering over to me. How did he get to the top? I bet he didn't have to trek forever through dark mazes. Oh? He says I haven't quite finished? Aww! But I'm at the top? Quick, punch him from behind while he gestures at something. Oh, ok, apparently I have to go to the top of these steps, where something is waiting for me. It better me my power!

Up we go, ah, sunlight in my eyes! Silhouettes, four, three stationary, one bobbing up and down, small, and apparently sitting on a tiny cloud?

The three stationary ones, two look a bit like obelisks with limbs, and one looks rounder, with a thin waist.

Oh God. I've been a fool. It's so obvious. What would Ragnarok say if he could see me now?
I had a doctor who test, I should have been expecting more stuff dragged from my head. This is the battle pyramid from Pokémon. The three standings creatures are the Regi family, that you have to get past to win it, and the thing on a cloud with a head like the sun was a castform, no doubt there for it's connection to the weather. It, surely it's guarding my power.

Back in a moment, I hope. I need to focus.

Back. Sorry about all the garble that may have come through, stray TP stuff may have messed with my phone.

I stared at Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, and found a grin spreading over my face. The Fates should have been more careful. They had clearly just pulled a bunch of things from my mind and twisted them into weird worlds to try and torment me with, without paying close enough attention to each. I kept staring at Registeel. I only had TP back, but the Fates had just handed me a robot.

I gestured a hand at it, directing it to the other two. Frantically casting my mind back to when I last got a chance to play, I realized I had the type advantage in my favour. Steel was good against rock and ice. I scanned his memory for his attacks.
'Registeel! Metal Claw!'
Both metallic arms glowing, it slammed into the other Regi's, impaling one on each arm. Leaving them both on the ground, we approached Castform, who was in it's fire form. Fire against steel. Not good. it launched a jet of flame at Registeel, who reeled, arms pinwheeling, looking weak. I made it use superpower, a rock move. It was effective, but another jet of flame looked like the end for my side. I suddenly thought of Regirock. I made Registeel through it AT castform. A strong rock move if ever there was one.

With Castform unconscious, a small cloud drifted up from it. It was very small, had a little lightning bolt coming down from it at an angle, and was revolving as it rose into the air. I grabbed it, and felt a ripple through my body. A wind stirred up my cloak behind me, knowledge of atmospheric pressures and degrees of heat around me filled my head, and lightning flickered at my fingertips. The hiker bloke was just saying 'Congratulations! We have a new battle pyramid Champ-' when a large block of stone I was standing on fell, tumbling me into a square hole, and black enveloped me.

And now I'm falling. A loooooooooooooooong way, apparently. you're all caught up on events.
Hang on, faint light below. Green. Big gust of air, and, hurrah! Safe landing!

The floor, and three walls are green. The ceiling has closed up, and that's green too. Ahead of me there's a blue path, across blackness, with the odd point of light dotted around. It looks like space, but I can breath. On the blue path there's a little green ball of light, hovering in the air. There seems to be a ghostly platform past it, it should be red but it's transparent.
My cloak is now red.

Another ability already?

Lets just grab it and- oh, ok, my cloak has turned green, the room I was in has gone all transparent, and the red platform is now solid. I think I'm beginning to get the idea. I think I'm playing for my colour manipulation ability.

Anyway, this is getting long, and I think I might need to concentrate on this, so I'll talk to you later. If this gets through at all that is. Ah well, whatever happens, I'm going now. I hope this reaches the blog, and I'll update again soon!

On the trail

'Lifeform detected. Delete.' The cyberman was stomping up the stairs, and I had no idea what to do. His face appeared on my computer screen, and looked around the room as the footsteps approached. "Wha! I didn't know they could do that...'
'Lifeform found. Unsuitable for conversion. Delete.'
'Let's not be hasty!'
Outside, he'd reached the landing.
Desperate, I grabbed my staff, leaning against a corner, and the wall mirror.
The door fell to the floor with a crash as he forced his way into the room. his arm laser popped out, and I raised the mirror in defense. It was smashed to pieces.
'Ah. Worth a try.'
I ducked another laser, and brought my staff smashing down on his metal head. It did absolutely nothing. By this point I was nearer the door than him, so I ducked out and rushed downstairs, frantically brainstorming. 'Uh, lets see. weak to gold? Not sure these new ones are, and I don't have any. Unlock it's emotion circuit? How? Oh, Rory got one with a sword! I don't HAVE a sword...'
A bit of wall by my shoulder, and I don't mind telling you, I started swearing. Loudly. A lot.
I tried the front door briefly, but it was locked. The keyhole seemed to have disappeared too. It looked like I was going to have to fight it. I ran to the french windows, which were mainly glass. Luckily, I was still holding a very large, thick stick.
SMASH!!!!
Knocking loose shards away from the frame, I made it to the garden. I went to the shed, and searched for something of use. Finding the lawnmower, I pulled it out, and started to drag it round and round in a circle round me. slowly, as I sped up, it left the ground, and I began, with difficulty, to hammertoss it. As the cyberman came through the french windows, and raised his gun arm, calling 'Delete' again, I let go, and a huge mass of heavy metal slammed into him, knocking him to the ground, dented, with a lawnmower on his chest. As his eyes flickered on and off and he began to shift it off him, I approached with the tree clippers. You the sort, the ones that can cut decent sized branches, and that your Dad warns you could cut your hand or finger off with ease so that you won't go near them. I doubted they were up to the thicker parts, but where the gun was attached.....
I chopped the laser off, and had a thin tube of metal capable of laser fire. I turned it on him. 'Delete yourself.'
That done, I went back to the front door. No change, but a burst of red light got it open. I was about to leave when there was a weird beep from upstairs, and a videogame style fanfare. I went back to my room. Where the cyberman's face had been on the screen, It now said 'Congratulations! New power up!' and floating infront of the screen was the 2d outline of a cyberman head. As I watched, it flickered, and became the outline of a normal head, with binary flashing across inside it. I t kept going flat as it span, then widening into a full 2d image again. I reached out to touch it. A wave of energy shot up my arm to my brain as it vanished, and binary scrolled across my vision before returning to normal. My head was full of new thoughts; My phone had three emails on it, Hana was off chatting to Micah on some remote server, my computer was running a bit slow after being controlled by the cyberman. I surfed the web on my computer with only the smallest of thoughts, and it arrived on the screen. My technopathy was back! It seemed the Fates had parted me from all my powers, and wanted me to fight for them. I'd battled a living machine for my technopathy, what on earth would be next? Would I have to fight Thor, or Quetzalcoatl, or Xmen's Storm for my weather power? what would getting colour manipulation back involve? What was happening to my friends? Were they being subjected to tests too? Were they doing well?

I decided to explore outside. It was black. There was nothing there. I heard the house door slam shut. I was trapped in nothingness. I stumbled around for a while, and found what felt like a door. Hoping it was the way back, I pulled it open, and entered, a posh looking place, with sandy colours, actual sand, and a jolly looking hiker sort of man standing at the entrance to a passage, grinning at me.

'Welcome to the battle pyramid! Are you brave enough to take the challenge?'

What?

A couple of strange events.

This morning, as we were planning our next move (We need to sort out what HE is up to, and what exactly we can do about it) something really random happened. there was a ripple of pink and black light, and this pink streak shot out of it, narrowly missed me, and vanished into another ripple. We had no clue what it was, but Tingle got a text about ten seconds afterwards, and simply said 'Ah, ok. Moira's dealing with it.'
'Are we EVER going to meet this woman that kidnapped you for a few weeks despite being an old friend?'
'BECAUSE we were old friends. She needed to fill me in on some information. And yes, you will. But, for now, moving on...'

After that, there was a sort of rumbling boom, that seemed to shake the whole world, but leave it completely undamaged. Dragon looked concerned, but tried to hide it with a smile when I looked at him.

Then we heard a cackling laugh from all around us, and one of the Fates spoke.
'Thought we'd forgotten about you? We promised you tests, and we will deliver. It may be summer for everyone else, but for you, it's exam time!'
'OOOh, too awful' cringed Doolittle, before shrieking. The bits of floor we were standing on were splitting up, and drifting away from each other, the walls replaced with inky blackness, unable to move, we slowly faded from sight of each other, until I assume we were each alone. I am anyway. I have no idea where anyone is. I blacked out, and woke up in my bedroom. I haven't been here since before Claire the idiot did her publicity stunt of extreme stupidity. I have no idea what's going on, but there's a cyberman downstairs. I saw him over the banisters. If you don't know what that is you should be ashamed of yourself, and you are to go and google it at once. All I know is, my abilities don't work, there's a cyberman downstairs, and all my friends are gone.

Crap! Footsteps on the stairs! I am officially screwed! See you later, if I live!

A touch of chaos, part 2

So, to recap. Everyone hiding from the world's new awareness of specials. Ragnarok reacted badly to a wasp while testing his power. Giant wasp on the loose in a crowded Cambridge. OH. DEAR.

We rushed outside to see what we could do, and saw that, apart from the occasional double take or half-gasp followed by a confused expression, everything seemed to be under control. Playwrite seemed to have stopped the panic, and nobody had any recollection of there having been a huge stripy monster zooming around over their heads moments before. We could still hear a loud buzzing, but Playwrite seemed to be trying to block that out too. A few people shook there heads, or swatted the air around them, and Playwrite winced. 'Too many people...in too wide an area...'. Broadcast waved his hand at the air, and then swept it slowly downwards. The buzzing faded, and Playwrite looked grateful. 'Thanks, that's one less thing for ME to block.'

Diffy was waving frantically at Ragnarok, who kept shifting into a cloud, or vanishing from sight, before flickering back into sight, surrounded by wisps of colour that sank into him.
'I fink his power's still working. He keeps chaosing my power, and wisping it away, which is mean!'

The buzzing increased again, and we saw several identical wasps burst into being around Ragnarok.
'Diffy! Stop trying to hide him? Your power's just helping him!'
'Hide the giant wasp, dont hide the giant wasp, make your mind up...'

Broadcast lowered the buzzing once more, and I thought desperately about how to solve this. We didn't even know which one was him now.

'Doolittle, can you try and communicate with him? It's still Ragnarok, he's just having a hard time fighting the gigantic wasp brain he's turned his into.'

She looked a bit nervous, but closed her eyes, clasped her hands together, and a faint buzzing began to emanate from her.

'Right, now to weed out the fakes.' I swept a hand at the heavens, and then thrust both palms at the wasps. A flurry of snow descended and tore through the wasps, and out the other side, except for one, who batted at it with long spindly arms. The acted as though it wasn't there.
'Gotcha!'
'Snow? In june? Is that really going to help us hide?'
'Well didn't you see what happens with him and electricity? I could use lightning, but I prefer not to be roasted.'

We were distracted by Rag becoming a clear blue, with light streaming through him, and his wings began to make a faint chiming as they moved. He was still a giant wasp, but now he was made of ice.
'Huh, his power just doesn't give up, does it? This is why I don't want one.'
'This from they guy whose temporary ability didn't even give up when he died.'
'I made a good ghost. Besides, shut up Tingle.'
I grabbed Rag in a sort of wrap made of forcefield, and Doolittle opened her eyes.
'He was there, and called 'This is insane.' before there was a massive buzzing and I was shut off from him. He seemed to be fighting it though.'

Blast had run out of patience, and shot laser eye beams at Rag, which fizzled upon contact, and shot out of his eyes at her. Cecil leapt in front, taking the hit, and both of them were thrown against the wall of the alley. Ragnarok took the opportunity to escape the forcefield (my concentration slipped.) and head for the main street. Playwrite had clearly sent out the general idea that people, should leave, but I sent a roll of thunder, and some rainclouds ahead, and made a gust of wind knock over a chair outside a nearby cafe. The remaining people fled, and a huge ice wasp flying around in front of kings college went almost unnoticed, with Playwrite making sure nobody who saw anything remembered it.
I grabbed again with the forcefield wrap, but Rag dodged by diving towards us. 'Come on Rag, don't you recognize us?!' I yelled as I leapt to the side of his attack. He stopped short, shook his head frantically, and turned to us. 'Thizzzzzz izz vvvvery weirdz. hard to control. zzzzorry.' He struggled for a moment, and then seemed to disappear behind the wasp's mind again. He was about to take off, when Don grabbed a leg and held on with all his might. Diffy grabbed another, followed by Cecil, who'd made a full recovery, and Tingle. Rag was brought abruptly down to earth, his middle and back legs held fast, and although Diffy flickered in and out of vision, and a graze appeared on Cecil's cheek, everything seemed fine. I summoned another Forcefield and grabbed waspboy, just as his ice form finally wore off, and he was merely a gigantic wasp again. He swung his stinger madly, but we all stayed out of it's way. Cecil let out a cry and fell away from the leg he'd been holding, as steaming holes faded into his chest. The same holes he'd got from taking the laser blast earlier! Once he'd let go, they healed again, but he looked a year or two older. That slowly faded, but it was clear what Chaos touch did to RCR's. Ouch.

Centaur approached the struggling wasp, and placed his hand on it's side.
'What do you think you're doing?!' and other similar cries came from pretty much all of us. He creased his brow, and held up a finger for silence. Ragnarok seemed to bulge, and then sag, in ripples, and wings burst out of Centaur's back, before shrinking and fading, and his horse legs flickered madly between normal and hairy black. Ragnarok shifted, his middle legs shrank into nothingness, and his back legs became thicker, and more human.
'Kind of an expert at being half and half, I'm trying to shift the balance of power.' said Centaur as a bead of sweat ran down his face.
'I didn't know you could do that.'
'Neither did I, thought I'd give it a go.'
Doolittle nudged me in the ribs, and showed me a normal, small wasp crawling around on her hand. 'Look who I found while I was buzzing.'
'The original?'
'Yup.'
'Would it work?'
'Most things like this are connected to life force, Dragon told me.'
'Do you mind? I know you like animals.'
'Wasps are horrible, and I'm not sure anything else will be as final.'
'Fair enough.'
Rag was now half boy, half wasp. Human head with feelers and wasp eyes, human body with wings, legs partway between the two, and arms that were too long, thin, and dark.
'I can't do any more.' said Centaur sadly, standing back.'
'Wazzzzz happennnnninnnng? Said Ragnarok, bobbing up and down in the air.
'I hope this works.' I muttered as Doolittle released the wasp into the air. Everyone turned to see a thin streak of lightning shoot from my finger, like a bug zapper, and, well, zap the bug. I disintegrated into black dust, and Ragnarok jerked madly, falling to the ground as the wasp in him died.

'Thanks guys. That was very odd. I'm not doing that again.'

After Healthbar patched everyone up, (She can heal Rag too. Presumably, his chaos touch absorbs the power, but since that's what everyone does, it doesn't do anything but what it's supposed too?) we had to make sure nobody had escaped with any clue about our little adventure. The slightest rumour brings swarms of government agents down on you these day. (See what I did there? Giant wasp? Swarm? No? Suit yourself.) Cleone used a sense power thing to search for traces of thoughts about giant wasps, and I checked the web. One crazy nutter had posted a blurry photo on facebook, but now all it is is a cartoony picture of a beedrill (Large wasp pokemon, Rag's idea, genius) photoshopped over a picture of cambridge, titled 'lol'. I don't think anyone's going to believe him, do you?

Sorry, this took a while to do, Moira has revealed herself at last. She needs our help with something. More on that later.

A touch of chaos, part 1

Everyone's still upset about what happened at the cliff, and everyone's being really understanding at my emotions driving my abilities crazy and nearly killing them, but we had a bit of a distraction about a week ago when we tested out ragnarok's power properly. Until then he'd only really told us that he'd named it 'chaos touch' and refused to touch other people properly, claiming 'last time I shook someone's hand, all hell broke loose, and he was normal, not one of us weirdos' Cleone and Dragon, after studying him for a while, decided that he has some sort of energy manipulation, that acts differently to different things, and that it belonged to the reality warping family of powers, but had nothing like Jorge's power (The reality warper friend of Damian's from ages ago, remember? We really must see what he's up to...) and that Rag's was far harder to control.

We finally persuaded him to try it out in the safety of our now more-secret-than-ever base. He reached out and grabbed Pete's wrist with his left hand. Both of them were instantly enveloped in Pete's red energy, and streams of it shot from Pete's wrist deep into Ragnarok. Beams of the energy shot from Pete's hands, and he pulled his wrist away, gasping, and then rubbed it as the energy faded from him. 'Huh, I feel fine. It was buzzing like hell when we were touching, but now I'm fine...' he wiggled the fingers of his right hand, and red sparks danced along them, leaping from finger to finger. His eyes shone a bright red, wisps of energy rising from them. He turned his ability off and looked puzzled. 'Well, I'm still at full strength. It didn't have any lasting affect on me at all.'

'Well of course not. I'd warn you if it was going to hurt. my left hand tends to be fine.' said Ragnarok, and we looked to him. He had red spark dancing over his body, popping out from under his sleeves and shooting to the ends of his fingers, and dancing in his eyes. He shot a beam of it from his hands, and burnt a hole in the map I'd pinned up. 'Cool, I like this power' he grinned, and lauched another one. This beam kept going for a few feet, and then started to fizzle, sparking and fading. All the red left Ragnarok, and he looked at his hands. 'Aww, I ran out. Well there you go, there's one of the things I can do. I can absorb loads of sortas of energy and shoot it out again.'

He started swatting at a wasp that flew past, and went to wave it out of the door. 'I'll show you shomething else in a sec- oh damn. Wuh? This hasn't happened beforeeeeeeee....' He had hit the wasp with one of his swats, and started to bulge, and shake. His arms grew thinner, he rose into the air, and he started to change colour. As his shirt started to morph along with him, an extra set of set of arms shot out. Wings burst out of his back, and feelers were growing from his head. In a couple of seconds we were confronted by a wasp the size of a seventeen year old boy. It buzzed, confused and shot out of the door.

'This isn't going to help the whole 'let's hide out and keep ourselves a secret while the world deals with Claire revealing abilities the world' thing, is it?' Said Healthbar.

'Playwrite! Diffy!'

'We're on it Tempest!'
'Okey dokey!'

They rushed out after him, and as we prepared to follow them and the first screams could be heard from the street outside, Playwrite, mental commands flew through our heads (He made us immune, but we can hear when he does a widespread command) as he filled the minds of everyone around him with 'There is no wasp! Everything is normal! You cannot see a giant Wasp!' and Diffy was brainstorming as he left 'Big cloud? No, he moving too fast. Flock of birdies? More complicated, I might whoops one of them if I gets distracted. Plane? No, too low down....'

Don turned to me as we rushed for the door. 'What the hell do we do?

I honestly had no idea.

Obsessions fill the void.

Sorry, this post is mostly whinging about people whinging about me being in a bad mood, but developments happen, so I'm posting it.

My temper has had a much shorter fuse since..that day. If it wasn't for Don's extraordinary agility, he'd have ended up embedded in a wall because he asked if I knew what our friend had wanted Playwrite to do. Mentioning his name is not a good move with me at the moment. I said sorry later, and he understood, but still, why do I randomly give off lightning? I can't stop since I struck Roy. I don't know what he meant to achieve by getting himself thrown off a cliff, but emotion crazed abilities is what I got out of it. If Tingle hadn't sensed it coming, he'd have got one in the face for trying to talk to me about the book of pictures left for us, and He was the only one that went through the same thing I did, he manifested naturally, not long after me, and he was the one that was with me and my cousins when we beat HIM the first time, many years ago. I just can't imagine this life without him. We were like brothers, the first few years really brought us together, and it's so hard trying to move on.

Sorry, this makes me sound really pathetic. Just don't point that out to me, or you WILL get shocked. :)

Anyway, trying to move on. I've become obsessed with the toolbelt future me was wearing, my technopathy, and the fact that I currently don't HAVE a toolbelt. Seeing as a hobby is useful when you've had to go into hiding because of some idiot cheerleader chucking herself off a ferris wheel (You don't see Healthbar leaping off the London Eye, do you? That's because she's got some SENSE!), I have been inventing like mad since we holed ourselves up in our base.

'What are making?' asked Ragnarok, a friend of mine who manifested about three weeks before Claire doomed us all. Good timing, huh?

'Well, I suppose the easiest way of describing would be a sonic screwdriver that DOES work on wood.' I said, not looking up.

'WOW!' Like Doctor Whos? Why?'

'Wouldn't you make one if you thought you could?'

'Point taken.'

Cleone walked in, and said that the real Cleo wanted to talk to us. She closed her eyes as Cleo shifted her consciousness between bodies, and then opened her eyes again, looking sad.

'I just read your post! I'm so sorry guys, I wish there was something I could have done! The friends I've lost, I know how you feel, I know you were lot were upset when Shifter and Omni and everyone died, but Precog...This must be hitting you so hard....Yow! Tempest, I do not like the look of your Aura. You just spiked...Oi!'
She stopped the lightning bolt in mid air, and stared accusing at me, but was interrupted by Rag.
'Wait..you can see Auras? Like a lucario?'
'A what?'
I intervened. 'She's not a pokemon, Rag, just like Don is not a Hitmonchan, I am not a porygon, and Healthbar is not a Chansey.'
'I only said they were LIKE that...'
'Well they're not!'
Healthbar leaned over to Cleo. 'Sorry, he's been in a really bad way since it happened.'
I went off to the other side of the room, stuck a pin I'd been holding in the large map I'd put up, and headed for the stairs when-
'What is that? Why are you marking volcanoes? Oh no. Don't you dare....'
'I have to Cleo, it's our only chance. Dragon is making serious headway with Omni's cocoon thing-'
'But you can't! You forget I was there after you left. Listen to me grumpy, it's not a good idea to go back! Seriously!'
'What are you talking about?' asked Ragnarok, confused. (more on his power later, by the way, it's interesting.)
'The Cavern of Lost Souls.' I said, staring at the map of volcanoes I'd already checked. 'It's our only hope of rescuing him. We need him, and there is a place that the creators of abilities store the souls of those who have died. It was in a volcano. I intend to find out which one. And then I'm going back.'

A cliff no more.

So there we all were, on a jutting out piece of cliff at Dover, as Precog smiled at us all. 'This is Roy Cameron. One of your sensing machines put me on to him Tempest. He is known in villain circles as Slammer. He can manipulate air into solid walls, as a defense or a means of slamming or crushing something. He has been asked by HIM to attack a few sites in a couple of weeks that could end up with the complete destruction of the UK. That's what I came to stop.'

I tried to get off Centaur, but moving made my head buzz horribly. 'Why didn't you get us to go with you?'
'Because you have to keep going with our work. You have to survive.'
'What do you mean?' asked Doolittle.
'Don't you dare.' Playwrite was staring in horror at Precog. 'Why would you send me a thought like that? I...oh...but,no...'
Precog looked at him sadly. I've seen what's coming in America. I know what Claire bennet is going to do to the world. You know what must be done.'Playwrite nodded, and there were tears mixing with the rain running down his face.
'What! What needs to happen!' called Tingle. 'You've only got a 13% chance of getting off that edge alive!)
'Not even that my friend. Dragon, Tildy, Playwrite, know all know certain things about what is to come. Good luck everyone. I love you all. Goodbye.'
With that, he ran at Slammer. Slammer, who had been standing sneering at our conversation with annoyance and confusion, laughed. 'Finally! Some action!' Precog's eyes turned blinding white, and he chuckled as he ducked round a lance of air. Oh! SO close! Nearly! Ooh, too bad! Aww, what a shame! Can't touch me! Come and get me!'

As he started making chicken noises, We started towards him to help, but with his free hand slammer made a wall of solid air blocking us from them. Healthbar moved away from healing me (Over exertion of powers takes longer to heal than physical cuts and bruises) to launch a beam of golden sunlight, hardened into a burning beam, at the wall, but it just stopped short of Precog and Slammer and started pushing her backwards instead. Partly restored, I got off Centaur and staggered forwards, trying to help. Don had put on the strength ring, and was trying to punch through, and staring as his fists just sort of swam through the air slowly without breaking it at all.

Everyone tried all they could, but we were helpless. I wasn't thinking clearly, I didn't know what to do, and as I wiped dried blood from my face all I could do was send a stream of fire and ice at the wall, while trying to make the grass under Slammer trip him up. It worked, but he was back up on his feet swiping at Precog in no time.

Precog was now flapping his elbows like a chicken aswell, ducking and diving the swipe of air that flew at him. ' He got to the very edge of our jutting bit of cliff, and returned to english. 'Enough of this! I know what's coming, I've seen it. Your sister isn't here to help you, and she must be stopped. But to stop you, and make sure events move as they should, there is only one thing to do. I know how this ends, there is no point prolonging things.'

He turned to us, and his eyes returned to normal, looking at us one last time. 'Stop his sister. She's out there hiding, but in a few months, she'll be big trouble. And most of all, stop HIM. No matter what.'

He faced Slammer again. and saddly, knowingly, smiled at him. 'Ok, I'm ready. Seal your fate, Slammer.'

Slammer snarled, and swept a wall of air at him. It hit him squarely in the chest, and he let out a cry, spread his arms wide, called 'Remember me!...' and pitched over the cliff.

There were shrieks and cries from all around me, and I yelled with them. Time seemed to stand still. 'Why hadn't he let us help? Why had he made sure we got here so late that Slammer protected himself from us? Anger filled me, I rose into the air with a huge gust of wind, and all I could think of was making Slammer pay. With his life. I grabbed my staff from where it had fallen in the grass, and Roared. The clouds above us filled with a rumbling thunder, and Slammer stared round at me, cocky behind his wall of air. 'Go and grieve your friend somewhere else! I can block everything you have to offer boy!'
'BLOCK THIS!!!'

A huge bolt of lightning crashed down on him from above. He had almost half a second to solidify the air above him, but not enough to stop it. It blasted a crater around him, lying twitching in the bottom. He was blackened, smoking and most of his left arm had been vapourized. Amazingly, he'd stopped it killing him, with some sort of chamber of air round his chest, that left most of his organs intact. He screamed, and struggled to sit up, as I turned away from him and went to the cliff face. I looker over. There was no sign of Precog. At all. The waves had claimed him, and there was no trace he'd even been there. I floated back past Slammer without looking at him, and as I landed infront of the others and started back down the cliff, I slowly clenched my right hand into a fist, shaking with rage. I heard the cliff crumbling behind me, and the little protuberance we'd been on falling into the sea. There was a strangled cry as Slammer was dragged down into the waves by the landslide of rocks around him, crushing him to pieces on the way down. There was no evidence any of us had ever been there, and Precog had been avenged. In my head I pictured the pile of rubble at the base of the cliff, and mentally crushed it to dust. Then I blacked out. I woke up a couple of hours later, at the base. I was told Dragon had got us home. I went downstairs, and found the machine signaling Slammers power. The one that had sent Precog there in the first place. I got Precog's cricket bat from under the counter, and broke the machine into pieces, which I then sucked into a miniature black hole with gravitational manipulation.

Since then, Thanks to a letter Precog left us (I'll explain later) We've been preparing for going into hiding because of Claire and her stunt with the ferris wheel. We've helped hide a friend of mine, Ragnarok, too, because he manifested recently. More on him later. Writing this has brought it all back, so I have to take a break, sorry. Everything's been as Cleo said, her Clone came and stayed with us, we call her Cleone, because we know she's a clone, she admits as much, and the real Cleo pops in every now and again. Bye for now!
